Lambs, let's promote Mariah in the United States!
Here are some guidelines to follow:
* It's not effective if requests appear to be "manufactured" (i.e. a station receives numerous emails from the same person).
* First and foremost - Request Mariah's songs on your local radio station because YOU personally would like to request the song. Radio requests are an effective and great way to support Mariah.
* Telephone request-line calls are more effective than emails. Only call radio stations you can hear in the city where you live. Eventually, it will get played all over!
* Call your local radio station ONCE a day to request "Boy (I Need You)." If you happen to hear "Boy (I Need You)" on the radio, it's nice to send an email to the DJ thanking them for playing the song - NOT the programmers or managers. Please call radio stations within your range.
* Some radio station websites have an email address specifically for requests - that is where you should send your email. I emphasize again that it is best to only send one email per day.
* If we each call our local radio stations once a day, we should start hearing more Mariah. With more Mariah, comes more exposure of her music, which leads to more Charmbracelet sales!
